A lot of interesting developments and blocking happened in this weeks rehearsals. We ran through nearly all of the play bar the dream sequences and the final scene. Apart from warming up and occasional Miesnering, we have been running through and blocking each scene. I wont deny that a lot of people, myself included, were using scripts in some of the rehearsals this week. At this stage of the process I think this is okay, as we are still making excellent progress however some people didn't know any of their lines or if they did very few whereas other people who have millions of lines know most if not nearly all of them. Obviously, it is up to the individual actor to come to rehearsals fully prepared and to contribute at the same level as all other members of the ensemble, but when some individuals decide to not put in the same amount of effort and commitment it can be detrimental to not only the work productivity, but also the atmosphere within the rehearsal space. I honesty hope that in the weeks to come everyone within the cast pulls their socks up, so this doesn't happen again.
